One Day to Live

Voltaire, the French Enlightenment writer, historian and philosopher, it is said one day when asked, "If you had one day to live what would you do?" replied, "I'd continue hoeing my garden". How does that strike you? There's a lesson, I think. We should be living one day at a time doing our best to make the most of our life's purpose. What better thing can we do?

Of my multifaceted interests is working with nature to produce something of value. I suppose even Voltaire might be impressed with the photograph depicting my continuing...! Much of the value is in the anticipation of creating a positive result.
